sustainability
Our "Sustainability and Net Zero" policy emphasizes Repair, Re-use, Recycle, and Re-upholstery.
When crafting our new furniture we utilize locally sourced frames made from responsibly harvested wood, EU-based fillings, English or EU fabrics, ensuring that each piece is built to last for decades.
Our facility operates entirely on solar energy during the summer, and our carbon footprint is rated as "low domestic use" by "Just Energy."
Since our establishment in 1985, we have dedicated ourselves to maximizing the re-use and recycling of furniture, avoiding the import of carbon-heavy items such as recliners low-quality pieces that cater to fleeting trends. An increasing selection of fabrics are made from recycled materials and can also be recycled after use. Many of these fabrics can be simply cleaned with water, further demonstrating our commitment to low carbon practices and sustainability.
